THE DESIGNER

Give me a stack of colour swatches and I'll disappear for an hour, happily. I notice design everywhere I go, a typeface on a menu, the spacing on a storefront sign, and I can't help clocking why it works or where it falls apart. That habit of looking closely is the whole reason I do this.

Quotation mark, text that reads "I DESIGN THE OBVIOUS INTO THE UNEXPECTED." in handwritten style

My process starts with curiosity and a lot of questions, leading to exciting hours of research and exploration. I'm drawn to projects that have something to say, where design isn't decoration but the thing that makes an idea actually land.
